Get ready! The 2017 Sam's Club National BBQ Tour is hitting the road in February and you better believe it'll kick off a smokin’ hot year in BBQ! Directed once more by award-winning pitmaster, Michael McDearman, the tour will wind its way through interstates, back roads and valleys looking to find, qualify and ultimately qualify an undisputed 2017 National Champion.
Team registration for the 2017 Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour begins on Jan. 10, 2017 at 7PM CST. Mark your calendars and be ready, spots will fill in the blink of an eye because YES…..we have super-sized the servers and bandwidth capacity for this all-star moment!
As in past years, payments can be made online through PayPal or by calling the KCBS office with your credit card number. The KCBS office number is 1 (800) 963-5227.
As for Judges, YOUR night to jump into the fun is on January 17. (More information will be posted for judge registration very soon.)
Helpful tip: Registration links will NOT be live until 7pm CST sharp! When the clock strikes 7, refresh your browser and then you'll be able to click the registration links. Also, don't forget that your KCBS membership dues MUST be up-to-date for you to register.
There will be a live-hosted support chat from 6:30-8:00 PM CST for questions and registration topics.
If an event location fills while a team is completing their registration form, a pop-up message will notify registrants that the location has no more open entries.
In the event a team is not able to compete or would like to change their event (where available), teams are now able to opt-out online. Note: refund rules and policies are still applicable.
Please take the time to read all of the rules and regulations found at http://www.kcbs.us/samstour/
In the event that there are available positions, an Open Registration Period will occur beginning Jan. 25 that will allow teams who are already registered for a 2016 event to compete in a second tour event in a different qualifying region. Note: teams can only compete in one regional final.
Good luck to all!
