Able Acres BBQ take home Sam’s Club title in Illinois

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped to make the Evergreen Park, Ill. contest and Inaugural Sam’s Club BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Able Acres BBQ     took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,500. 4 Smokin' Butts was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,000.

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Hoosier Crawdaddy
• Brisket – Twyford BBQ & Catering
• Pork – Able Acres BBQ
• Ribs – Able Acres BBQ

The following teams earned a spot at the Regional Event in Indianapolis, Ind. on Aug. 12-13:
