Cool Smoke takes home Sam’s Club title in Marietta

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Marietta, Ga., contest and Inaugural Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the year points, Cool Smoke took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,500. Bubba-Q’s was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,000

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Cool Smoke
• Brisket – Cool Smoke
• Pork – Bubba-Qs’s
• Ribs –  TNT Southern BBQ

The following teams earned a spot at the Jackson, Tenn. Regional Event on Oct. 7-8.
