Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Tampa, Fla., contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!
Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Good Buddies BBQ took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,000. Hot Wachulas was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,500
Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:
- Chicken – Good Buddies BBQ
- Brisket – Big Tymer BBQ
- Pork – Sun State Smokers
- Ribs – Florida’s Divine Swine
The following teams earned a spot at the Region 3 Final in Hendersonville, Tenn. on Sept. 22
