Wildcatters Q Crew take home Sam’s Club title in Midwest City

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Midwest City, Okla., contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Wildcatters Q Crew took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,000. Buffalo’s BBQ were named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,500

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Sizzlin Bone BBQ

• Brisket – Wildcatters Q Crew
• Pork – 4 Legs Up BBQ
• Ribs – McFrankenboo BBQ

The following teams earned a spot at the Region 2 Final in St. Charles, Mo. on Sept. 29:
