Route 66 Catering Crew takes home Sam’s Club title in Las Vegas

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Las Vegas, Nev., contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Route 66 Catering Crew took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,000. Piggy D’s BBQ was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,500

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Bear Naked BBQ
• Brisket – Piggy D’s BBQ
• Pork – Piggy D’s BBQ
• Ribs – Bear Naked BBQ

The following teams earned a spot at the Region 1 Final in Albuquerque, NM on May 12.
