The Pit Crew takes Sam's title in Daphne

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Daphne, AL, contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, The Pit Crew took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,000. Lotta Bull BBQ was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,500.

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Smokin' Butt Crew
• Brisket – Smokin' Butt Crew
• Pork – Baas Hog BBQ
• Ribs – The Pit Crew
