Midnight Burn flyin' high at Sam's event in LexingtonJune 23, 2014
Kentucky was smokin’ hot as the Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour rolled into Lexington this past weekend. Besting a packed field of competitors, Midnight Burn showed true mastery of the art of low and slow, and claimed the Grand Championship with an overall score of 683.3372, just barely edging out Reserve Champion, The Looney Pit. The Looney Pit finished with a score of 681.1421. In addition to bragging rights, the teams pocketed $2,000 and $1,500, respectively.
