Pork Barrel BBQ secures the GC at Sam's event in LaurelAugust 25, 2014
Maryland was smokin’ hot as the Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour rolled into Laurel this past weekend. Besting a packed field of competitors, Pork Barrel BBQ showed true mastery of the art of low and slow, and claimed the Grand Championship with an overall score of 669.6112, just barely edging out Reserve Champion, Sauce This BBQ. Sauce This BBQ finished with a score of 665.5884. In addition to bragging rights, the teams pocketed $2,000 and $1,500, respectively.
