KCBS Names YETI Coolers Exclusive Cooler and Drinkware Sponsor

On behalf of the Kansas City Barbeque Society and its 20,000 members, the organization today announced that YETI Coolers has been named its exclusive cooler and drinkware partner. Built-for-the-long-haul, YETI products fit perfectly into the lifestyle of KCBS members and are a must have for barbecue competitions.

“Everything about a YETI is designed for the rugged use barbecue competitions will dish out,” explained LeighAnn Bakunas, BBQ + Beer Marketing Manager at YETI. “From versatile, and beyond durable coolers, to top shelf stainless steel drinkware, our products will keep food at a proper temperature, and beverages cold to the last drop.”

For competitive barbecue teams that often spend hundreds of dollars per competition on supplies, ensuring that food stays safe is critical. YETI’s roto-molded coolers, combined with inches-thick insulation in the lid and walls of the cooler ensure that the coolers will keep things iced for hours, even days, without worry.

“YETI coolers are simply unlike anything else on the market and are perfect for KCBS teams,” said Carolyn Wells, Executive Director of KCBS. “Whether someone’s YETI is full of meats or the drinks that go with it, KCBS and YETI are looking forward to this new partnership,” said Wells.

YETI is contributing coolers to each of the KCBS Team of the Year Winners and will help support KCBS members throughout the season.
