It's that time of year again where 30 competition BBQ teams will come together in Las Vegas (Region 4) for the Sam's Club National BBQ Tour.  These 30 teams have already placed in the top percent of their qualifying local events, so we know the competition is going to be fierce!

Fort Collins, Colo. crowned the remaining six teams, last Saturday, April 16.  Iowa’s Smokey D’s BBQ out of Des Moines, Iowa were named Grand Champions with a 699.3600 overall score.  Reserve Champions, Pellet Envy, hailing from Leawood, Kan. trailed Iowa’s Smokey D’s BBQ with a 693.0856 overall.  We’ll see these two teams, along with the following teams at the Las Vegas regional on April 23 - Jo-Bawb’s BBQ (686.2172), Keep Calm and Blaze On (672.5484), Duck Dog Bar-B-Que (669.0512) and The Celtic Pig (668.5716).
