Sherry-Glazed Ribs

1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 cup sherry
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon granulated onion
2 pounds country-style ribs, trimmed
1/4 cup salad oil
2 tablespoons garlic salt
1 tablespoon pepper


Yields 4 servings
Bring tomato sauce, sherry, honey, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and granulated onion to a boil in saucepan over medium heat; reduce heat. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until of glaze consistency, stirring occasionally. Rub both sides of ribs with oil; sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Cook ribs with lid down for 30-35 minutes longer. Brush ribs with sherry glaze; turn. Cook with lid down for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through. Brush both sides with sherry glaze.
