In Da Smoke BBQ is a competition BBQ team started by two good friends with a love for BBQ. We had been attending several events the last couple of years as spectators, all the while BBQing in the back yard of course. Well spectatorship and the feeling that some of our Q was better than what we sampled made us come to the conclusion that we needed to try competition ourselves and low and behold here we are in 2009, our virgin year of competition Q.

Biggest Wins: Took 5th place Ribs, and 6th place Pork at the Northstar Blues & BBQ competition in Deforest,WI on Aug. 7,8, 2009. This was our VERY FIRST competition. Took a 4th place Ribs at Fire and Fun on Hwy 51, in Westfield, WI on Aug. 21,22, 2009. This was only our SECOND competition ever.
