Kick Back BBQ is a competitive barbeque team started in 2010 in Prairie Village, Kansas.
Team members include the following:
Michael Fox, David Trotter, Kyle Kohne, Michael Fox, Sr., Zach Fritz, Lindsey Ritchie, Julie Linebarger, Clare Fox, Mary Jo Fox, Lacy Fox
CHICKEN: Currently chicken is our best category. At the Lenexa BBQ Battle, we received 12th place in chicken out of 200+ teams. In the American Royal, we were 21st place out of 500+ teams.
RIBS: Ribs continue to be a work in progress for us. We like what we turn into the judges, but we need to know what the judges really want.
PORK: For competitions, we pull our pork. Recently, we have been smoking it longer.
BRISKET: Brisket started as our best category, but as we got more into the competitions, we struggled with consistency in our cooking process.
