My BBQ habit got started while my roommates Brian Yost, Nate Elniff and I were in college trying to grill the perfect pork chop. I didn't realize it at the time but it turned into a passion for barbeque that I have to this day. I then got into smoking meat for friends and family and have done a couple of smaller contest. The name Lazy Bacon BBQ came from my wife Jess Camp one day as we were thinking of names for our team. 2010 will be our 2nd season on the bbq circuit. We have about five or six contest we are looking at doing. We look forward to meeting new friends on the bbq circuit. Good luck to everyone this upcoming season.
