Started out with group in 2005 hauling around 4 backyard cookers to BBQ contest. Never got any calls that way. So we went out and got a nice size smoker on a trailer and things got easier from there. Spent some time fine tuning everything and got some inside help from Hot Meat Smokers. In 2006 we got our first big break and won 1st place in Ribs at Mission and followed that up with a first place in Pork at Blue Springs and Lenexa and was 3rd overall in Lenexa. 2006 turned out to be a very good year for us. 2007 was ok but still no GC. 2008 started out with 2 calls at our first contest and looking for many more to come. Thanks to all of our sponsors along the way and to all the volunteers that help set up and tear down. Without all of you this wouldn't be possible. Most wins in a year: 3 Reserve Grand Champions. Still waiting for that Grand

Biggest Wins: 1st place Ribs Mission BBQ, our first call. 1st place Pork Blue Springs & Lenexa. 3rd place Overall Lenexa 2006. Reserve Grand Champion Tonganoxie 2009, Mission 2006 & 2009. Several other awards along the way.
