Jeff and Beverly Terry of Noxapater, MS. started this team in 2010 as a way of learning and sharing BBQ and cooking in general with new friends and old, as well as each other. We have found that the challenges of competition are the best teachers and the people involved in competitive BBQ are among the best we know.

Both of us have been cooking all of our adult lives. With the early lessons from mammas only making us hungry to learn more, we have both tried to expand our knowledge of all types of cooking. Growing up in the restaurant business and having a small catering business has helped to prepare us for competition.

With seven contests behind us this first year and a couple of small trophies on the wall, we are preparing for year number two. We can't wait!
