3 BILL'S GRILL
Year Started: 2010
Members:
JONAS HECKER
We consist of a group of professional Firefighters from Salina KS. When we started everyone on the team weighed at least 300lbs. hence the name 3 bills grill. Now I've got a couple of svelt 250lb.'ers helping so the name does'nt really fit, but who cares? I have them on a program to get to 300 but its been tough so far. I'm pretty sure that we take the events less serious than 90% of our competition, and it shows in our results. We've cooked in the rain, cold, wind and heat and we always have a great time and nobody ever goes hungry!!
Hometown: Salina
State: KS
Country: US
Most wins in a year: ya right!
Biggest Wins: peoples choice and brisket at the Salina KS police and fire fighter cook-off. Not really a big deal but I did Kick Manny's BBQs ass!!!
Sponsors: Salina Party Bus, Mancave of Salina, Bike Tek, Green Mountain Grills, Legacy Homes, Yoder Smokers, Hecker Construction, E.B. Electric;)
