Gerard and Tom Giles are two long time college professors in the music department at Minnesota State University in Mankato Minnesota. Gerard teaches trombone and Tuba and Tom (now retired)was the director of the jazz bands and taught trumpet. Both professors began as certified judges before making the step up to competition. Professor Aloisio, Master CBJ had years of cooking experience in restaurants and catering companies in Cincinnati, Ohio prior to joining the Music faculty in Mankato.
